Its for a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with 265/50R20 tires.

I need it to be comfortable on the highways with relatively good wear. The old tires I had were Goodyear and shite (came with the rims).

Been doing research, but its a mixed bag of about 10. Had an easier time getting tires for my coupe than this nonsense

So far I've seen
Michelin Defender or Premier LTX
BFG A/Ts
Toyo Open Country
Nitto Terra Grappler

I have Nitto Ridge Grapplers and like them a lot. Don't hum on the highway and have plenty of traction.

Go to www.tirerack.com and put your vehicle in the filter and read tons of reviews.

Ignore anecdotal evidence from message board.

You are welcome.

Couple great choices in that size. Cooper Discover SRX is a great tire. Hankook DYNAPRO HP2 RA33 is another great tire.

Bridgestone is a pretty good tire.

Cooper AT3 if you want something a little more aggressive.

Great tire, but they don't build it in that size. Hankook choices are the RH07 and HP2.

Didn't know that but that's what I have in a different size. They've been great

Be sure to wrap them in black ductape when you ditch the body.

I ALWAYS put the RF10 on my trucks when they are an option. But all the Hankook tires are gret.

Have them on an old Jeep Wrangler that my brother gave me. It's not my daily driver but they've been great tires

I bought the Michelin Defenders last month and they are a great road tire. I mostly drive highway miles, so it was an easy choice for me.

I just bought some Laufenn X Fit AT's from Allied Tire for $630 out the door P265/70R17's 60k miles. Laufenn is made by Hankook and have only been around for a couple years. I've heard good things so I'm giving them a try.

Another Hankook off brand is Aurora, they are the exact same tire as the Hankook main line of tires. All manufactures have those smaller no name brands.

Congrats. With all of your sage advice and knowledge, it sounds like you work at a tire store. Why don't you just post where you work so all of us can come buy tires from you? TIA...
