What are you doing over your break to make yourself a better teacher?
Personally, I'm upping my xanax dosage so I don't actually kill a child in 2017, and I'm learning to spell piquant correctly.

Most teachers I know are drinking wine and complaining that their Christmas break is not long enough and how they can't wait for summer.

Nothing, i have been teaching 26 years and Chem/Physics hasn't changed at High School level

My wife (no pics) seems to be spending her time trying not to kill our daughters and catching up on Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. I have not noticed an increase in cooking and cleaning, that's for sure.

On the even # years I do as little as possible. On the odd # year I do absolutely nothing. It has worked for 17 years now, so I don't think I will change anything this year.

What is the difference? Basically you a pill-head junkie who uses that as an excuse to yourself. You need to find other work and stop giving educators a bad name.
I've thought Title I for nearly a decade; inner city middle school for the last 3 years and have never once needed xanax to stop me from "killing children."
