There was a thread a couple of days ago about a new brand of sunglasses that are supposed to be really good for about 45/pair.

Ehh. I'm under the impression you need to spend atleast $150 for a good pair of sunglasses.

Buddy of mine gets Habervision.

Polarized - lot of choices. Under $100, but maybe not $45. I think they make ski goggles also.

He's outdoors mostly and says they are as good as any he has used.

I've gotten some basic polarized Smiths to keep in the car/boat for about 40 bucks or so. They're not my primary sunglasses (and there are much better Smiths) but it's good value.
