Go get some Gas. Production stoppage in the Houston area is causing shortages. Expect prices to rise.

word on FB is that gas supply won't return to normal operations for up to 4 years

Because people like you are making people panic and fill every container they have with gas.

Heading out to buy milk and bread. Oh, and ice.

Due to supplier issues related to Hurricane Harvey, Kroger is out of Regular Unleaded gasoline. I'm guessing that other stations could POSSIBLY run into the same issue, along with price increases.
****Edited Clarification - Kroger still has 3000 gallons of Premium and 1000 gallons of Diesel, both at the listed prices.

Several area QuikTrip stations, including the one at Alpha and Preston roads in North Dallas were out of gas completely Thursday morning. Quiktrip spokesman Mike Thornbrugh said the outages were part of the companies plan to make sure North Texans can gas up throughout Harvey's aftermath. "You are not going to have enough supply to meet your normal needs," he says, acknowledging that the news of a restricted supply is spiking demand. "So what Quiktrip is doing — we've been through this before with other hurricanes — we're taking half of our [135] Dallas-area stores and designating certain stores to be kept full of product. The reason we do that is you have no logistical way when you have a run on product that is short to keep every single outlet full of gas." Customers can check out Quiktrip's website to see which stores currently have fuel available. Thornbrugh says Quiktrip is still waiting for any information about when supplies — which he says are down about 6 million barrels a day, might be back to normal. Until supplies are back to normal, it's important that people keep their wits about them, he says. "What we're asking everybody is 'Please, don't panic,' Thornbrugh says. "There's going to be product and there's going to be gasoline, it just may not be what you were used to in the past."

I was able to tank up earlier. Went and got my daughter's jeep from high school. Got in line (about 30 cars ahead of me). Some piece of shite hag in a crappy old Corolla drove around everybody, got behind a car that was pumping gas. Ol' boy in a F-250 in front of me got out, walked over to the attendant station and told him what happened. When the piece of shite pulled up to the pump, the attendant had shut her pump off and wouldn't let her get gas. She went over to the attendant and started raising hell. Wish I had recorded it. She turned around and flipped off everybody and yelled out "frick Texans. frick all of you.". I laughed. People clapped and pointed at her and she drove off. From her accent, she sounded like she was from The Bronx or maybe Long Island. fricking kunt. Hope she ran out of gas.
