OT Pop Quiz-Drinks at a new host's place

I'm bored at work watching coverage of the NYSE trade shutdown, so...
You get a friendly invite to a new aquaintance's place of residence (this could be your neighbor, your employer or your co-worker, a guy/gal you met through another friend, etc. Just someone new.) This host or hostess asks you if you would like a drink. You respond in favor (that means "yes, I'll have a drink".) You're asked,
"What would you like to drink?"
Your personality, education, etiquette, chemical makeup makes you choose one of the following(select one):
A. "Water."
B. "I'll have what you're drinking."
C. "What do you have?"
D. "I will have a (insert your specific drink preference here whether you know they have it or not)."
E. "What do you mean by "a drink"?"
F. Something other than above-please specify.
Choose wisely for you surely will be graded by your peers.

If they ask while we are in sight of a bar or area that has a collection of beverages, I take a look and choose something they have.

Is there a correct answer? I feel like you don't even know. I feel like this is going nowhere. Is this one of those bullshite "opinion tests" where everyone is "right" and it's a veiled exercise in accepting our differences and sharing and shite?
