Would you re-enlist if America is attacked by a foreign government? We all probably know plenty who enlisted after 9/11 and most of those I know wouldn't go back in unless we were attacked.

So what would you do?

You know something the rest of us don't? Or are you just preparing for when one of these two clowns becomes president?

As in an invasion? Or like another foreign war? If there was an invasion I'm pretty sure it would be like 100% yes. If there was another foreign war it would have to be a big cause for most I'd suspect.

FWIW it's not a given that they would take you, depending on your MOS, how long you've been out, and other factors.

I'm still in, if we got attacked I'd go to the recruiting station and try my fricking hardest to get out of the reserves and go to the unit that is the closest to deployment. I'd also see if they could lengthen my enlistment until the war was over.

Simple answer Yes. We took an oath, which to my knowledge, does not have an expiration date.

Son, I'm way too old to reenlist but I'll do everything in my power to make life for the enemy an absolute living fricking hell.

Yes, absolutely. As soon as war was announced (or the sending in of Marines), I'd be in a recruiting office.

I can see retirement from here (reservist). If something happens between now and then, I'll go. After I retire? That's on y'all.

No. I've done my time. Plenty of others who can step up. If not, I welcome our foreign overlords.
