I drive a 2015 Toyota Corolla. I'm just over my 25k free maintenance program. Should I continue to get this serviced at Toyota, or go to a different shop?

Just get a new one.

That's up to you. Toyota service will cost more but the techs are trained from the factory. You might save 10%'20% going to a place like firestone but you won't know what kinda tech you are getting. If you can find a good independent then go that route other wise I would use the dealer

Invest about $75 in ramps, oil catcher, oil filter wrench and do it yourself.

What's in the package. Normally those free packages are at mileage intervals that are unhealthy for your engine. If you are not knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance you should know that OEM's "extended mileage" recommendations of such things like oil changes every 10K miles or when the light comes on are MARKETING PROGRAMS and are not design to ensure maximum engine durability.
I always recommend 6K oil changes (semi synthetic) and tire rotations. Air filters at 30K unless in dusty conditions. And always use OEM air filters. They fit.

Maintain it at a local shop.

Own all of it - frick. That. I'd rather pay the money than waste an hour doing that shite

Yeah frick all that work. Got a local dude at front of my neighborhood. Drop it off and drive my backup. Pick it up later.

It's a Toyota.
It won't need hardly any service outside of fluids, filters, and tires for the first 110k miles.
Do it yourself. It's easy and fun.

You and I have different definitions of fun.

Make friends with an Indy. They'll take care of you when other non-routine stuff pops up.
Case in point, my buddy needed a starter for a Tundra. Dealer $1200. I referred him to my indy, $7xx.

I can change the oil in my tacoma in five minutes. Though there is no easier vehicle to work on.
I can't blame people that pay others.

Toyota. Your carfax report will love you when its time to sell it.

"Maintenance" is a scam perpetrated by Big Oil. Upgrade your Johnson rod and ball bearings and you should get about 950 on the tach.

Dude, new cars replaced johnson rods with headlight fluid.

headlight fluid.
This has been replaced as well. Only electronic fluid in newer vehicles is for blinker.
You can find that at any Auto Parts store.
