What are some sample resumes that you really enjoyed the aesthetics of? I am looking to update my resume and the sheer amount of resume styles recently makes it seem too busy for my tastes. What do people look for in terms of just aesthetics?

I had an application come across my desk and under skills the guy put "can drive a stick shift". He also had two bible quotes in there and his picture on the top right. He looked like the Shermanator. This was for a part time office worker.
Maybe do some of that.
ETA: Seriously though... Good think paper preferably in an off white color. Those always stand out to me. I also like bullet points more than paragraphs when explaining duties at past places.

This is always a classic look when you want to make an impression.

Sometimes, I wonder if I should put "Republican/ Democrat" depending on the state

I read this as a job posting, as in the OT is hiring managers. I guess I got my resume all spruced up for nothing.

Just make it simple and sharp. Start sentences with action words and don't have a block of text more than 2 lines long. One page only. Edit your skills and descriptions of past work to fit each job you apply for.
I review A lot of resumes. Some of the things I've thrown them out for
-aol/hotmail address
-misspellings
-having too much on there and not wanting to read it.
