Any tips or techniques to shaving your head? I've been buzz cutting it without a guard for a couple of years now. Just thought I'd shave it with the razor and see what's up.

I went and bought the Headblade today. I noticed they had a shaving gel too. Is that advisable or just plain shaving cream fine? How often do you have to shave your head?

It must suck to be bald. Shaving your head sounds like torture.

I shave everytime I shave my face. I shave right out of the shower and use a Mach 3 power.

It's actually easier than shaving my face.

the reason I haven't shaved my head is that you have to shave it every day, if you don't want stubble...more daily maintenence is just not something that I need...

Man I got so much hair on top of my head it's pathetic. If maintaining an office acceptable hair cut, I need to go every two weeks (three weeks max). I just got tired of doing it.

So far for me the more blades a razor has the better, I currently use a five blade anything less and I cut my head up

Shave it. It'll change your life. I shave mine every other day. Safety razor and wet shave face with a good blade and shaving soap. But for the head, though, Mach 3 or similar blade with barbasol in the shower. Haven't found any better way to do it.

I do it in the shower. Any shaving cream works for me. Use Gillette fusion

This thread gives me anxiety. If I ever get bald to the point I need to shave my head, which I am sure I will, I will hate having to see everyone I know for the first time with a shaved head....its like admitting you are old. I can't even really think about it without getting nauseous Getting old and being unmarried sucks balls!

If I had a sexy singing voice like Pitbull I could probably pull it off... but I don't so I'll keep my strategic brush over as long as it works.

Funny timing for this thread. I shaved my head for the first time yesterday. I'm not sure it's something I want to do every two to three days so I might get clippers and just keep a set length of stubble.

I've been trimming mine without a guard for years now. About every two or three weeks i have to shave it again. I'm gonna do mine after Thanksgiving.
