New Orleans to Seattle, looking to go in mid-August or September. Thanks

Let me know when find cheap fairs from New Orleans or Houston to the Caribbean or Mexico. Preferably around Thanksgiving or the second half of December.
I'm obviously doing something wrong, because I can't believe how pricey these flights are.

MSY-SEA is $270 in September, or $304 in August (depending on specific dates like Sat-Tues or Fri-Mon).
The Alaska air nonstop is at $363 so might be worth the extra $90 to fly nonstop and not on United

Lsupimp I'll keep looking, but you're right those fares are atrocious. Give me a few minutes.
MJ2, below is a link. This is through google flights. If you click on the link, it will pop up with MSY-SAN for Sat Aug 29- Wed Sept 2nd. You can click on the calendar to find better dates that are cheap. Do you have a range, like any saturday to tuesday or Wed-Saturday in the month of september?

Thanks. Unfortunately I may not even be able to make the game now . Advisor wants me to go run experiments in Berlin for 3 weeks at some point this fall. I'm praying it's not the last weekend of September...

Is this a Fri-Sun trip? If it's Fri-Sun, there's $351 for BOS-AUS Fri Aug 21-23. The flights are $270 if you could do Sat-Monday the 29-31.
Cheaper to fly to AUS than SAT. BOS-SAT Fri Aug 28- Sun Aug 30 $398

Would be a weekend deal but fairly flexible, so Sat-Mon could work at that $270 fare. Thanks.
Hope you're able to make it to the game but if not, I would imagine Berlin could be a cool place to travel to, even if it's for work.

Life gets better with traveling in my opinion. Plenty of places to explore, take pictures, try new foods, make new friends, etc. Don't let the woman bring you down, do whatever the hell you want

I'll give you the google link for Bos-Austin Sat Aug 29- Mon Sept 1st. The $270 is with a 4 hr layover in chicago leaving at 5am. It's $308 if you want to just connect through DFW with an hr layover or United's at $287 with different connection options as well. You have your options

thanks bud. Really appreciate that. I've been stuck in a miserable marriage for 11 years and am fixing have my divorce finalized and am looking to start living life to the fullest and travel is my main prerogative so these cheap flights kinda have me stoked.
Totally take advantage. Travel is great. Just make sure you have a solid foundation under you for whatever life throws your way. I've got some friends who did all sorts of traveling and were the envy of all their friends with the pics they posted. I can point to three of them that got injured in one way or another. They didn't have anything to prepare for that and now live with their parents working to pay off bills. No more travel for them. Create a good balance of financial prosperity and travel and you'll achieve a level of fulfillment you haven't had before.
