I just bought my wife a new Explorer and I want to use only the best products on the interior and exterior. I'm mainly worried about the interior as some brands can be harsh, remove color, etc. Obviously I will color test but I'd rather start off on the right foot. I'm familiar with McGuire's and Mother's products however mainly just for wax. What are you guys using to clean the interior panels, dash, and leather? Thanks

Meguiars is all I use on my truck and I haven't had any issues, and best protectant is 303 Aerospace Protectant

I'm not sure. That's the head mechanic's job to make sure that's all lined up. If I want to drive the Maserati, I tell him to bring it around. If I want to drive the Lambo, I tell him.

As long as the cars are meticulously clean and always ready, he could be cleaning them with gorilla skins, for all I care.

Meguiars leather conditioner/cleaner is all use on the inside of my cars. Doesn't have that shiny sticky look like AA. Take a extra 5 mins after your wash and hit the outside with Lucas Speed Wax, stuff is magic for the paint.

She's a woman and no matter how hard you try, you will not be able to clean it faster than she will muck it up.

I plan on keeping it until it's paid off. I'm a slight perfectionist and want to keep it in tip top shape. Are you guys cleaning the leather before conditioning it? If so what are you using and how often should it be cleaned/conditioned?

I second the aerospace 303 and Ammo. I like to use a more diluted than directed Optimum No Rinse to wipe the surfaces clean before using the 303.

What color is the car?
Look on youtube at the two bucket wash method
I don't really put anything on my leather until it starts to need it.

Moat important in exterior care is not to swirl it up in the first place.

If it's black, kill yourself now.

Barebones is AMAZING for the undercarriage. I use Meguiar's for weekly cleaning in and out. Clay and wax twice a year. Jeep is 4.5 years old, haven't had to polish yet.

Avoid any carwash that's not touchless. Rinse and soap the vehicle A LOT before hand washing.

For Interior, I usually just use a wet towel. Only product I use is a leather conditioner every few weeks and my jeep sits out with the top off all the time.

I use the Wolfgang products on my pickup.

People are amazed at how water beads on the exterior surfaces. The painted surfaces really pop when clean and dry.

Go to Tiger Distributors off Mammoth Dr. professional grade products you can't by in the store and they'll tell you what you need for what you want to do

I literally only use water and a cloth on my interior. All those protecting products make it look shiny and streaky.

I also am super clean and do not have children.
