"Oscars too white" is the stupidest fricking thing I've ever heard

How fricking retarded can race-baiting, excuse-making pieces of shite be?
Be a better actor and you'll win shite.
We're racist cause we don't hand out participation Oscars? Celebrities make these comments like our generation is responsible.
Who chooses the nominees? The Acadamy. Who makes up the Academy? Hollywood actors, directors, and producers. What political affiliation are the great, great majority of "Hollywood" individuals? Liberal Democrats.
Interesting.
Here I was, always told that only "republicans" were racist. Apparently that's not the case. Hollywood is a joke. And democrats are the biggest bunch of destructive, delusional, whiney assed hypocrites on the planet. It's time white people stop feeling guilty because they're white. And it's time black people stop expecting special treatment because they're black. Equality means EQUAL. This bullshite needs to end.

What bothers me is none of the whiners will state any specifics. Who shouldn't have been nominated? Who missed out but is better than the ones nominated?

They don't want special treatment, they want equal treatment. Blacks don't get the opportunities in the industry that whites get because of the color of their skin. This is mostly due to financial reasons and studies done saying movies with black leads don't do as well over seas.

Also frequent a predominantly black forum, and all of those black people don't give a frick. Many made the case that black producers and black run companies should look to put out a better caliber of material if they really care.
Lord doesnt give a frick and neither does and neither does T Bird.
We know Morgan Freeman don't give a frick.
So where are all these black people up in arms besides Jada, (not even her husband) and Spike Lee that this board keeps telling me about?
I'll just keep repeating it, two whack jobs do not represent an entire race.

Honest question since I didn't watch a lot of movies this year: What black actor/actress/movies should have or could have been nominated for awards?
- Straight out of Compton isn't exactly an award style movie I assume, I didn't see it.
- Was Selma in this year's nominees or last years?

In this instance race and gender does affect many actors. Studios only care about money, and what we know is that minority and female leads do not bank as well as their white male counterparts domestically or overseas.
Don't believe me, go read the Sony Email leaks. They love Denzel but acknowledge him being black as a reason it is hard to put him in major productions as the lead.
It is what it is, 76% or more of disposal income spent on entertainment comes from whites, so you cater to your market. Ask Tyler Perry, he caters to the black audience.
Do you think the Chinese market gives a frick about America when they make their films. What about Bollywood?
