Orion parade parking recommendations?

Try and park on the street in Spanishtown and catch it right in front of the capital.
Probably shouldn't give my "secret spot" away (RE: Outdoor Board Bank Fishing Map), but....
Capitol Annex/Claiborne parking lot
Take the Capitol Access exit off the Interstate and drive past the State Capitol building toward River Road.
Park on the other side of the Capitol building in the huge parking lot near the Pentagon Barracks.
It's an easy walk to the parade route, and easy to get out once the parade ends. The kids can play on the Capitol steps and around the Capitol Gardens before the parade begins.
Just choose your viewing spot carefully because there are lots of trees in the area.
We usually catch the parade on River Road first, then hop over to 4th street to watch it pass a second time.
It's the parking lot in the upper left in this photo.
