Ghost town? It slowed down a bit for some but still busy. My work is actually a little busier that I'd like being it's the holidays and hunting seasons. Neither, med field.

Just saw you started to respond. Sorry to spam your thread. I'm drunk and bored. Crowley is a great place to live. And you are on the right track looking north of town in the country.

Did I understand correctly, you work in Broussard? That would put you at around an hour commute each way.

I commuted to Youngsville for 5 1/2 years. Commute was 40 minutes taking some back roads. Good quiet time with my coffee in the morning and a few road beers in the afternoon with no traffic

Youradhere, I'm driving 1 hr and 20 min rite now. Sounds insane but doesn't bother me one bit. I work for myself so I charge mileage and expenses then claim it all. Works out

Not bad at all. I used to drive an hour (eunice to kinder) for work. Two hours a day. Outside of the Elton speedtrap, that road beer never tasted so good.

I live in the neighborhood north of town (Atwood acres). Great place to raise a family with large lots and nice homes. There are 3 houses for sale right now in the neighborhood that you may want to look into

MSDOS your a Eunice fella'? Attended an ole' buddies wedding there 2 weeks ago. We all went to the dug out for a night cap but didn't stay long. Lots of youngins (expected) and LOTS of colords (not expected).

Yep. I'm a barfly around these parts. Dugout isn't my bag, too many underage kids and it's a shotgun bar. Way too cramped in there.

The black folk go to joyces or the daquari shack. My favorite bar to drink at is either DCs, the shack (especially on pool night, since I shoot APA), or the roadhouse in basile.

Whoa. Passed in front of that place on the way to Lake Chuck a few weeks ago.

Rough looking joint, but then all of Basile looks rough. Almost as rough as Mamou.
