Churchill deliberately worked to bring an overwhelming invasion force of US military personnel into his own country during the early 1940's. And this was only a couple of generations after Britain was a superpower.

Discuss.

Considering Amercian involvement in WW1 was so significant and that they called in WW2 it's really not all that amazing

The Brits would say about the Americans:"Oversexed, overpaid and over here"
The Americans response about the Brits was: "underpaid, undersexed and under Eisenhower".

I'd say Churchill ordering the destruction of the French fleet is even more gutsy. He didn't have many options after the French surrendered.

I've been watching trailers for the new call of duty world war 2 game and it looks to me like the british strong independent african women's special forces division probably could've won the war singlehandedly if not for the sexist attitudes of the day

Something Russia did.

Everyone knows you have to say Russia to sound like an expert in WW2.
