Divorce may be cheaper than counseling in some instances

Uhhhhhh, if you're shopping attorneys, I'm pretty sure the counselling won't work.

If you go for years of counseling, that shite can get very expensive. And for what, to end up getting a divorce anyways or worst pretend to be happy but stay miserable deep down.

I think in some cases it may be healthier for the kids to have their parents divorced and happy as opposed to growing up watching them argue all the time.

Counseling and divorce attorney's should be mutually exclusive. Best of luck making it work. I hope you both are as committed as the day you got married.

I'm guessing she wants a divorce and you want counseling? I'd cut my losses and put the $ you'd spend on counseling towards a better attorney.

Less is not more. Don't go cheap. Because she won't.

If you are Catholic (and maybe even if not) there is a group called the John Paul II healing center in Tallahassee,FL that do seminars around the country. They are outstanding at what they do, it is a very Catholic based program but can really make a difference.

The Healing the Whole person and Marriage Unveiled are both great.
