So long as we have irresponsible journalism and crazy people that want a ridiculously violent legacy, then these will continue. Even with higher gun control laws, someone who really wants glory will get the gun and mindlessly murder people. Until we ignore the people who do this and don't give them power to change everything, then this cycle will continue. If we let these psychopaths know that they will be immediately forgotten, then they would not do these things.
