Shame

Where are all the drunk driving apologists at? There was a thread about DUI on this board recently and lots of people were downplaying driving drunk as no big deal and downvoting those who said it is a big deal.

What?

Drunk drivers are no better than mass shooters.

Nobody said she was drunk. DUI doesn't have to mean alcohol. It was like 10am when it happened, she may have been tweaking or something.

After a sixty hour work week, I stopped and grabbed a 16 ounce cold one. I sipped on it while on the drive home. Should I get a DUI?

Actually way worse from a killing people standpoint. We should probably enact alcohol free zones. That would stop them.

You can't wait until you get home to drink?

BTW, what's the point of a cold one, what would the purpose of you mentioning the 60 hour work week in correlation with the cold one be?

Why not a pepsi after a 60 hour work week, or does the cold one do something different to you?

If you're over the legal limit, yes.

Do me a favor. Get drunk, get arrested and tell the judge "I just worked a 60 hour week" and ask him what he thinks of that.

They don't like to hear it, because many of them drive under the influence and are okay with it..

It is what it is.. To me though, it's something that never had to be. Never should be.

I have no idea if its alcohol or meth or some other drugs, but I will guess alcohol. Just a guess though.

I cannot imagine losing someone due to a drunken driver.

Because capital punishment doesn't deter crime and in most states, costs more than life in prison.

As for DUI, there is no specific intent to kill. That makes it less heinous than First and Second degree murder.

If you stop and get a cold beer and throw your cell phone in the trunk after work the roads would be a lot safer

Car control

It's too easy for people to get cars now.

Ban cars.
