Please keep this thread clear of normal OT-type comments - that's what the other thread is for. It would be nice if we could keep a repository of vital information here, without having to scroll through multiple pages of people making fun of Peej, bringing up political issues, or other random nonsense.

The normal weather posters...you know who you are...please feel free to post any information, thoughts, observations you see fit. If you're not one of these posters, but have relevant information to share, then please feel free to do so.

Those that piss on the floors of this thread will be dealt with swiftly.

Lil bit of a "stadium" effect going.

He's getting close now. Wouldn't be surprised to see a little slowdown and sort of "bounce" off the coast for a little bit here and end up going in a little north of NW.

I was a first responder in Katrina and it's aftermath. Lots of awful memories. I am praying for everyone in the path of this monster.

Watch till the end. See how it kind of pulled north on the last couple of frames? That wobble will probably spare Corpus.
