Right before Katrina. We've certainly had our share of other citywide tragedies since then. May better days be ahead for BR and RIP Officer Melancon

I believe this was the one serving the high risk warrant in Midcity.

Think he was a Pville resident.

RIP Terry Malancon. The war on drugs killed one of the good guys. End this nonsense now

I hung out the with the guy a few times that killed Officer Melancon. He lived off State Street for a while. He seemed like a really chill dude. He sold a little pot and liked working on his classic car. What a waste of both lives over something as harmless as a few marijuana plants. I say that with no disrespect to the officer. He was just doing his job.

Sad day. Team executed a warrant on a dealer in the Capital Heights area. He started shooting as they entered. 3 total shot, Terry died at the scene. Very fortunate only one died. Dealer killed by return fire.
