What locations do you guys know of and how are they? I know they have one in Gretna that is open Mondays and Wednesdays but I have never been. I remember going to the one in Rivertown when Shoemaker-Levy 9 collided with Jupiter but I can't see where they have more than a planetarium these days. Thanks in advance for any info.

There was one out near Wallace Lake south of Shreveport I remember going to as a kid. I can't remember the exact location, tho.

ETA: Worley Observatory

Yes I brought mine with me. A lot of people set their telescopes up outside and hung out. The kids had a good time.
