I now Croats (orthodox Christians) and Serbs (Catholics) language is pretty close but not the same. One is based in Latin and one isn't if I remember right. Read a pamphlet on it at the holocoust museum in Dallas a couple weeks ago. They had a section on the early 90's purge between the two and the Boanians(Muslims)

Macedonian. You would have to find the special characters for it though.

Are you doing spoken or written?
Either way, Mayan should be in the mix, and if written, look into Sumerian.

My ex was from Vilnius, Lithuania.
Was weird when she'd go into that Soviet speak.

Not sure if Jesus ever said "Thank You" but the translation would be from the original Aramaic.

You know it way better than me, but not so clean as all that since my coworker goes to a big Croatian Catholic Church. This guy thought his pops was dead because they didn't hear from him for a month while he was on the run during the Yugoslav Wars. That is some serious hate. The 30 for 30 on Vlade and Drazen is really good on this.

You have them backwards.
The spoken languages are pretty much the same but Croatian uses Latin letters and Serbian uses Cyrillic.

Do remember that majority of the Jews in Serbia is actually from a sect that migrated from Spain/Portugal, not the holy land. They emphasized that a couple times in the audio tour.

Yes the Ladinos, they fled the Inquisition. A lot of them also settled in Thessaloniki. Both places were part of the Ottoman empire at the time.

Hot milf Albainian chick gets a text message in an odd language than no one knows what it is. She shows it to me and I recognize it was an Romance language. I look at it for 30 seconds and confidently say "it's Romanian." I was right!!!!
Wow! Then what?

I knew for sure it wasn't French or Spanish. I can understand a bit of Italian in written form. I thought it could be Portuguese but I'd always heard Portuguese looks closer to Italian
