Yeah, nothing like being all stinky and sweaty when you're working on getting laid.

Edit: Dammit, beaten to the punch.

One of the best complexes in the Gulf South is just a 10 minute drive down I-12

Yep. Tim's got his shite together and with LSU building their own courts on campus they better hope beach volleyball blows up around town.

There's an underbelly in BR that is very dismissive towards anything and anyone who has interests which seem foreign to that person. Which is then expressed through negative comments and poo pooing of fresh ideas.

This new complex should be good for the growth of the sport but I do not see many of the regulars who have played for literally decades ever leaving Mangos.

There's a vibrant and fun culture at Mangos that is tough to match. I hope the new complex can create the same magic with a new base

I'll be darn. I've seen the sign for this place for months and assumed it was another condo development.

As someone else pointed out the people at Mangos don't have problems. And secondly, you don't have to do any of those sweaty activities to drink there you dullard.

I had some friends that rented the single wide on that land in college.

Guess the old man finally sold it

When I was slanging Mr Gattis Pizza in 1995, you could cut through that driveway to get from Burbank to Highland. We'd occasionally get a delivery on S Kenilworth and used it often to come out behind Highland Hardware. See that little red line I drew on this pic. They closed that gate at the Bayou Fountain Bridge a few years later.

And I can say I used to ride with my dad down the dirt road when they were first clearing path for Burbank and shoot our 22 rifle around where the Soccer complex is now.

Craft beer would also help. No sweet liquors.

There's a new Rotolos shopping center coming up at Burbank/Ben Hurr

It appears the LSU related growth is spreading that way

My last few GT scores. I have spent over 10k playing GT over the years according to their app I have on my phone. Seems as if I'd be better and more consistent by now.
