Does anyone know who the developer of Oak Alley Estates in Geismar was? I also heard he might be the one building a new development off of Hooshootoo between Mallard Crossing and Mallard Lakes. Does anyone have any information on this?

Worst parking lot in Baton Rouge, and that's saying a lot.

found this if it helps:

Seventeen Eighteen Brightside LLC, Baton Rouge

Local entrepreneur Kevin Nguyen, who recently bought 30 acres for a new subdivision off Hoo Shoo Too Road, is the force behind this company.

Nothing particularly about Oak Alley, I just knew it was the same builder as the new development. Just trying to scoop up info on Mallard Park and see how the big the lots are and what they are going for.

I don't know if it matters but our houses seem to be further apart from each other than any neighborhood around here

Just seems like the new "it" place. Just like white oak and lake at white oak back in 80's.

We'll see how long that hoo shoo too area can sustain its niceness. Supposedly some section 8 apartments are being built off airline bear bayou manchac. Also, some of jefferson near highland isn't as nice as it once was.
