Bottom of an article about the Southern students that were killed in the 70's:

The vote comes as the federal government continues to investigate the 2016 shooting of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge. Sterling, an African-American man, was unarmed.

Do you guys just read as many articles as you can all day to find something to complain about?

I read the local newspapers (Advocate & TP) and WSJ each day?

Times Picayune/Nola.com is about to go out of business because of their shitty reporting. Not surprising

And it's not just that it's biased, it's also very poorly done, written, etc.

Anytime I see someone use "fake news" in reference to a source other than breitbart, xyznews, bludotdumbass.com, ect, I know they are a dumbass.

I hate that website solely because of Jarvis deberry. That race baiting piece of shite writes nothing but BLM articles.

Do you prefer "inaccurate news" instead? I don't think it matters what words you use for "factually incorrect" if that is indeed the case.
That would indeed make it fake, as in, not true, made up, etc. Though there are connotation differences.

I put it in quotes...indicating satire/sarcasm given it's on the OT. Are you that dense?

This. I cancelled my subscription three years ago and told them that was the exact reason when I did it.
It's fun every now and then to log onto nola.com and make fun of him and his tard supporters.

It's just mind boggling that not too many years ago journalists took excruciating care to get facts 100% correct and used "allegedly" a ton just to cover themselves anyway. People got fired for a single major mistake. Now they just don't care or, worse, do it on purpose. You would think she would be embarrassed.

The article is being corrected.

But seriously, does anyone believe the federal government is still spending time on this? That investigation could've been finished in a week.

Times Pic is a shitty liberal rag

When you keep repeating misinformation over and over again, eventually it becomes "fact"
Are there no repercussions for reporters when they write stories that are blatantly inaccurate? Especially when its about things that happened a long time ago.

I think mis-reporting and fake news are different. If you don't know the difference, stay on sports and Comedy Channel.

All the Times Picayune has left is nola.com. It's popular and has a nice format. If the Advocate can get their web site to catch up, the Times Picayune is finished. I think it's just a matter of time.

Love how they aren't allowing a "comments section" on the article.
They publish lies and BS and have Jarvis DingleBerry as their resident race-baiting, BLM supporting POS to use as click bait since everyone hates him and the comments slamming him always come pouring in.
What a freaking joke of a website.
ETA: Just checked, no comments showing and no way to post one. Does anyone see comments on the article anymore.
ETA update- now seeing comments suddenly appear
