Mid City and it is getting better and better. Good place to eat right the in Namese and Treo and Tana are close for great drinks and food. It can get sketchy at night but that area is much better than even 3 years ago.

Earhart to D'hemecourt is all hood. Mid-City north of Banks and eveything south of Fontainebleau is fine.

Isn't that right next to Tulane Ave? Not the worst part of NOLA but I would not want to walk there at night

You are right on the edge of MidCity. Tulane Avenue and MidCity is sort of in a gentrification stage. The area around Jesuit on the lake side of Carrollton is really not that good. Once you cross Canal, Carrollton is ok, and going the other way, once you pass the Costco, Carrollton is ok.

This is a great example of never being far from trouble in New Orleans. It's not like criminals can't just drive a quarter mile to cause trouble.
