Some women just lose interest in sex as they age. It's not that uncommon.

But this is the OT, so she's def getting side pipe.

That's what they want you to think.

How old are the kids? My wife and I have 4 kids including a 2 year and 7 month old and there have been seasons where my wife's only real motivation for sex each week was to serve me. So much energy goes to those tiny ones. That season passes when the kids are older. If the kids are young that could be it but it's pretty horrible to just cut a guy off like that.

Sounds like an "irreconcilable difference" to me...

I gaurantee she hasn't lost all interest in sex, just all interest in sex with her husband.

Sex is an integral part of any marriage unless there's some physical deformity or accident that prevents it.

If she's not willing to work on that, then the marriage is over anyway. The effort is what counts with things like this.

Sounds like a good woman. Keeping the spark is a two way street, and sometimes women just need to lay back and think of England.

I'd have a very hard time with that.

You got married. Gotta do your duty. Don't feel like it? Too bad, take one for the team. Stay on her arse until she gets it

Is she a Christian woman?

1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control

I dated a girl years ago who had a sister who was a year older who was married with three kids. Both parents were born-again Christians but aside from that the husband was a good dude and we got along very well. One day we were out playing golf and the husband asks me how things were going (we had been dating about five years) and how our sex life was. I told him all was very good and asked him the same. He said nada, she had cut him off awhile back and that "mommies don't have sex"- those were her exact words. I was appalled. At this point they had been married about eight years.

Not too long after that the girl and I split (the "mommies don't have sex" part stuck with me) but I stayed in touch with the husband via phone calls and texts. One day years later we meet for lunch and he confides in me that they split up. I ask if another man is involved and he wanted no part of that discussion, he said they just "grew apart". We meet again a few weeks later and I tell him I can't believe there's not another guy involved and his reply is "oh, there is". It turned out she was screwing the husband of a kid who played soccer with her son while her husband was down on the field coaching both kids. It turned out mommies do have sex afterall, just not always with their husbands. And this was a woman who lectured her sister on living in sin when we were dating because we were having pre-marital sex.

After 15 years and three kids, I would expect she'd let me do my thing even if she wasn't in the mood. Meaning with her.

I imagine every married man has had the disappointing yet still ultimately satisfying situation where his wife just really didn't want to but still did her wifely duties.

Then she would probably leave and take all his money with her. Cheaper to keep her, as they say.

She has unilaterally changed the terms of the marriage. Pretty selfish thing for her to do. I'm either getting the green light for something on the side or I'm gone.
