It's gotten to the point I am having a hard time distinguishing between oncoming brights and dims. I flash innocent drivers thinking there is no way they're not brighting me. Anyone else?

FTR, the hardest to distinguish are the new trucks, IMO.

The worst is the baws in their new lifted f250s who don't re-aim their headlights after getting the lift.

It's the angle, not the brightness. Their "regular" lights are misaligned and are aimed too high.

For anyone with a lifted truck with shitty angled lights, have you been approached by police or DPS accusing you of lights that are too bright?

Quit driving drunk and you won't be so sensitive to light

Sao, Me too. I flashed my lights at a car the other day because I thought his hi-beams were on. Turns out they weren't and he then proceeded to turn on his hi-beams and melt my eye lids

Didn't the latest Safety Report come out saying that the majority of new cars did NOT have sufficiently bright lights? I think I remember something about that.

I agree that they are too bright. The new LED lights coming out are even worse than the Hid, now that I got used to those.

The Big Problem With LED Headlights
People think you're a high-beaming jerk

As for the people who think I'm blinding them, I conduct an impromptu public education seminar. I flick the Kia's headlight stalk and give them a taste of actual LED high beams, which light up the intersection like Rikers Island searchlights during a prison break. They won't flash me again.

I anything it makes my nice 2009 vehicle seem like a POS for not having newer headlights.

I will say that I think the blue police lights are blinding when they're on side of the interstate at night. I can't see a thing when passing by them

Squinting is not an option. It's for girls.

Grin and bear it.

Lol I think I know this guy. His hi-beams are basically the equivalent of light sabers to your eyeballs.

It made me nauseous for a split second.

I think a ton of vehicles run around with aftermarket HIDs (usually look a pale-shitty-blue color) that blind everyone.

There's also people in older cars with halogens that run around with their brights on thinking that no one can tell because their lights are so shitty.

Then there's modern HID or LED headlights that may or may not be properly adjusted and cast a glare onto oncoming drivers.
This is the least likely situation, mostly people are just assholes.

My trucks HIDs got flashed quite a bit for a few weeks after I leveled it until I adjusted them.

No flashes since then that I recall

This is good info. I also see Chevy and GMC pickups which appear bright and they're stock.

They're simply not angled properly.

From what I've seen, the biggest offenders are the people that put aftermarket lights on their older model cars.
