What's the need to handcuff him when he's clearly incapacitated and unconscious and why not at least attempt to render first aid with the amount of blood that was there?

Well this video was from the police officers body cam and he still walked away so I really don't think they'll make as much of a difference as people hope they will

that's why i roll my eyes at the whole "risking their lives everyday" shtick. no they don't, they shoot away whenever they get scared.

He probably has some unpaid parking ticket someone will use to justify this

No idea why he approached and I didn't see much about Taylor's background on Twitter

That is worse than any African Americans can ever claim.

ridiculous how a cop can do something like that and get away with it. I understand cops jobs are stressful and they deal with people with guns all the time. But, he didn't hesitate to shot when that guy didn't do what the cop said (probably because he couldn't hear him).

Stress is part of the job and the job has benefits like shrinks to help with it. The DA should be strung up by the fricking heels with meat hooks. This cop was looking for a reason to shoot.

There's a YouTube video linked in the comments that has the DA doing a frame by frame explanation. As the cop pulls up with his lights on the 3 friends who matched the description of suspects see him and one starts walking away.

Eta: they turned out to not be the 3 suspects the cops were there for.

less chance of getting sued if the victim is dead.

This story isn't new by the way. The DA cleared him of this murder a while ago.

That is just an absolutely stupid thing to say, much less take the time to type out. Is this a fricking contest we're having here?

That's another matter, though. This video was tough to watch. The cop yelling at him "STAY WITH ME!". Well, I could think of another way he could have stayed with you.

wow, i don't see how that was declared a good shooting. That cop should be up for murder. Even though it sounds like the guy turned around and said no.

found it, imo the DA's explanation was terrible. he said the officers spoke, and had a plan on how to deescalate the situation, because the "suspect may have had a weapon".

Sick minded motherfricker. All of that stay with me and medical is on the way was for effect. He knew he just murdered that kid. Where's the bootlickers?

What are you talking about? He clearly did all he could by covering the wound with 2x2 gauze after pulling the guy's face out of the pool of blood he was drowning in.

That sounds like the justification the officers attorney came up with after reviewing the evidence
