How good is their customer service and do they stand behind what you order?

They are the best. Their customer service is what every other company should strive for.

Amazon is amazing for everything. Make sure to price check across the Internet as amazon is often but not always the lowest price.

The customer service and call back features are the best. I rarely need to speak to anyone but it is painless when I do.

I probably buy 100 things a year on Amazon.

if i want to return i just speak via chat online feature LINK

sometimes the warranty is within the seller itself.. but they are kind.. when i have returned stuff some sellers want to charge a shipping fee, but amazon waves it for me when i talk to them

this, been a member of Prime going on 2 years now - order my running shoes, sunscreen and pet meds (OTC). In 2014 ordered a 33hp V twin Kohler engine for my (over $500.00)small trackhoe - the spindle did not match the hydraulic head - emailed them explained it was the wrong size (my fault) and they had another one on the way before I started the return process of the original - no hassle - no questions asked. Would highly recommend.

A Grade.

No problems with returns. Almost seamless.

I've purchased a 46" Sony TV and an iMac from them. When I got the iMac something was wrong with the screen and they overnighted me a new one with about only three questions asked.

I wouldn't be afraid to buy anything from them.

Bought a lawnmower and two kayaks off Amazon and had no issues with these large items. The free shipping on the kayaks basically paid for the Prime.

Is it directly from Amazon, or from a third party seller on Amazon? I'm sure Amazon holds sellers to standards, but I'd be most comfortable ordering something sold directly by Amazon.

I've bought thousand+ dollar cameras and lenses from Amazon.

Spent $600 on a PA system for the tailgate. It didn't work. Had a new one in just a few days.

Their customer service is pretty top notch.

First of all, get Amazon PRIME. It's worth every penny.

Off-the-charts good. Bought a $6.75 gadget for my camera > here in 2 days > part broken > 3 minutes to create a refund and return > next morning set package outside my door (without shipping label) > UPS picks it up > credit issued.

Long story short: Amazon PRIME is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
