We have a newborn and an 11 year old and are looking for a good neighborhood in EBR, Ascension or Livingston with kids near their ages. What says the OT?

Riverbend is most family friendly neighborhood I've found in EBRP.

With kids.....I would definitely suggest AP or Livingston as a choice over BR. You should also consider the safety concerns that has resulted in the rapid growth of the two Parishes mentioned....as most of the growth has come from BR residents moving to these areas.

So it wasn't abundantly clear that we are looking to move and would like for our kids to have friends in the neighborhood?

Whatever, as long as I get one serious response you guys can fling all the shite you want.

I love living in the Dutchtown area and have found most newer subdivisions have young families.

A+ school district
Easy drive to BR

My recommendation if you want to live in Dutchtown is to target subdivisions off hwy 74 and west of 73 (Moss Pointe, Oak Alley, Dutchtown Lakes, Legacy Hills)

piss on paying $7000/year to put my kid through primary and secondary education in a private school

Until some dindus break into your house at 5 in the morning, duct tape your family, beats them, and then robs you blind.

Thank you for the input. Private school tuition has been a major thorn in my side for quite a while as we already have one child enrolled at Parkview. I've heard good things about Dutchtown. Maybe my wife and I can go check out the neighborhoods this weekend. Thanks again.

I'm selling mine in a kid friendly neighborhood. Might even cut you an OT deal.

if you move to prairieville, you must immediately stick your head up your own arse when driving on I10.

hang out in the passing lane until the last 1/10 of a mile before the exit then slow down to merge and frick over everyone

When deciding the fate of children, the OT is always the first place I consult.
