Golf, LSU Sports, traveling, running, biking, and I like to do as much of the woodwork, etc around the house that I'm capable of.

Also volunteer and such with a few different groups.

The man doesn't have to go inside and watch his television on mute once the sun goes down just because you had some babies. If he was doing this after 10 then I would talk to him and call the cops if I had to but 7? Come on.

All acceptable hobbies, but the fatties just don't see the appeal of running and biking.

FWIW I was just curious. Figured it would be normal stuff.

Oh. I know it's socially acceptable, just don't get the appeal.

I played for stress release. Plus it was fun when I would just be at home drinking. I was actually thinking of busting out the ps3 tonight since I'm off this week and boozing it while the family and friends sleep for work tomorrow.

Expecting people to shut down their lives at 7 oclock because parenting is hard is ridiculous.

Driving loud remote control cars is not allowed on public roads. It is not wrong for him to shut them down. It's a fricking loud kids toy and they need to go to parking lots for something like that.
So I guess your dumb arse would be ok if it were airplanes?

It's not a street legal machine.

Just call the cops. Bad arse neighbor will be shut dosn

I've got an 8 month old. He passes aout about 7:30-8:00. Luckily I dont have any noise problems and he's a hard sleeper until about 5 a.m.. But I see the problem. If noise wakes your kid up, it really throws off their sleep schedule and can ruin the night.

There's no reason someone should be expected to shut down reasonable noise that early though. So I get the responses that asking someone at 7 is ridiculous. But if my neighbor asked me (even before I had a kid), I'd keep it down. I'm not so big of an a-hole that playing with my toy is more important than his children.

And I knew kids that had thise when I was young. They are loud as shite. Like a high pitched whiny chainsaw. You must find a way to destroy this car on "accident". Your neighbor has thrown out the challenge and you must step up!

I also think it's strange that post-college aged adults play video games

Average age of gamers these days is early 30's or so and will only go up as people grow up with them.

I never once received a ticket or warning for running my RC cars in the street when I was in the hobby.

It doesn't get dark till 8:30 now, so thinking that your neighbors should remain quiet after 7 pm is a bit ridiculous.

Get a sound machine or move the kids to the back of the house if the twins are light sleepers.

I'm so glad my girl was/is a heavy sleeper. You have to physically shake her to wake her up at night.

This.

Forget the kids. When I get home from work I don't want to hear someone running their weedeater toy up and down the street. If I can hear your toy inside my house, its too loud. And if you continually run it near my house just so you can find your inner little boy, you're an annoying arse.

You manned up and asked him to act like an adult. Now call the cops, and I wouldn't even mention my kids. He's being a nuisance, and those cars aren't legal to be a public street.
