I haven't had to actually go in person in years. Any advice on the best time of the day to go? Guessing I am going to have to just take a whole day off work.

Has anyone used the Express OMV place at Seigen/Perkins? Worth the extra fees?

Do they charge extra fees? I've been a few years back and don't recall extra fees.

I don't believe there are extra fees for using an Express DMV office. At least I don't recall being charged any back when I used that office. Regardless, they are worth it if there are

Yes. Took about 50mins in the non-express line on a Friday (which is presumptuously their busiest day).

It's $12, so you decide. I didn't pay it because frick that shite. I just read a book and overheard everyone complain about how much the wait sucked.

There's now an "express lane" (at the DMV Express lol) that you can get in for $12 extra.

if it means not taking off of work, yes

you can go and do pay extra to be next up...I think it's an extra 15 bucks or so. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

it's newer

if there's no one in there, then you can take your chances on not paying, but if you have the option to not take off of work and do this on lunch break of some sort, I'd recommend it so you don't lose a day's pay

Drop the $12 for the Express lane at the OMV on siegen/perkins. Its worth every penny to not have wait w/ the rest of the peasants.

Why not just renew by mail instead?

It doesn't take a whole day. I was done in less than an hour on a Friday afternoon.

Also, licenses are good for 6yrs now. Was not aware of that.

I'm not convinced that this actually exists. Cocksuckers have never sent me a notice.

Also, I don't think you can renew by mail if you have to change your address or something.

I'm paying 12 bucks to not sit in that miserable place for an hour or so.

I always go to the Express DMV on Sigen and Perkins, but I go pretty close to when they open during the week. The wait isnt long.

When you sign into the iPad/touchscreens in the front, it will ask you if you want to express it for the $12. When you go that early it isn't needed.

I've never been later in the day.

Apparently you can only renew by mail a limited number of times and then have to go in person. I didn't have to go in person last time, but this time when I tried to renew online I was told I wasn't eligible and had to come in person. Apparently one renewal by mail is all that is allowed.

You have to renew in person often enough so they can take a new picture of you
