Fd is probably fire department

Sounds like he is asking us for a location from which he can "acquire" a PowerPoint for tomorrow

I remember in a speech class in hs, someone gave a "how to" speech on how to make a pancake. Do that.

People could offer more help if they knew what "How To" you were giving a speech about.

You can easily make a 10 min speech out of how to make a PB&J. Take your time and be specific

Maybe do a paper on how to hire a football coach. Then forward it to LSU administration please.

I did that once back in college...my topic was "how to change the oil in a car."

basically, you can give a minute or two of why this is a good idea (i.e. saves money, general maintenance knowledge) and then roll into the step by step directions. afterwards, you can wrap it up by talking about hazards to avoid and safety issues (i.e. hot oil, busted knuckles, etc.).

if you do a test run, and you are short, you can talk some about your oil and filter preferences.

you basically just need to talk about something that you know very well, but the rest of the room does not know so well.
