Okay, Im in a crisis right now. Im currently a film major(supposed to be a senior) after being a petroleum engineering major for 3 years. My GPA was god awful. I want to join the film industry , but I heard the job market was terrible, very low pay and work conditions and super long hours. I might now get a job at all. Should I change to human resources or wildlife ecology( or some other major). I want to hurry up and leave school but I want a stable career. I also lost TOPS. Any help appreciated.

I think a gpa of 2.0 in PETE sounds better than anything else you listed.

even a 1.3 sounds better.

You should really talk to a counselor or someone who could actually look at your degree audit and help you figure out your next move based on the classes you have already taken.

Decent troll.

If serious, you aren't going to be banking in HR. Go learn a trade. Be a plumber or a welder.

What would it take for to get a degree in General Studies? It might get you out quickly.

What do you want to do in the film industry? Lots of jobs require talent agency experience. Or you could look at getting a job as a PA or something. Those hours are long and the pay sucks, but it's the best way to get your foot in the door. It also would help if you could get an internship.

What are some decent majors? HR seemed reasonable.
