Posted by keeton350 on 8/19/15 at 9:09 am00
My wife, no pics, is a teacher. They use these things a lot but they have not given her one yet so we are going to buy one. I really dont know much about them. I found some refurbished ones but i guess i just really need to know what is the main thing to get in it. For instance here are 2 options tell me which one do you think is better for the price.
macbook pro 13 in 2.3GHz Core i5 for 699 or
macbook air 13 in 1.7 GHz core i5 for 599 or
macbook pro 15 in 2.53 Ghz core 2 duo for 649
Thanks

MacBook is a complete and total waste of money. You can get a perfectly good PC for 1/3 the price of a new mac.

Exactly!
Don't buy a stock macbook. My last two have been customized 15'in Macbook Pro's and you will never wish for another computer. Granted, you're going to spend at least $2,500+, but if you actually need it for work then it's 100% worth it.

the 13inch is just fine as is the 1.7ghz. Your wife will more than likely just use it for documents and surfing the web. No need to spend the extra money for speed she won't need

By perfectly good I mean equally as good. Didn't know I was dealing with a sorority girl.
