Need golf advice

I just moved to the BR area and have picked up golf. I can hit my irons straight almost all the time, but they never go more than 100-150 yards, no matter what club I use. Lol.
I am beyond terrible with my driver and don't even use it.
I have thought about getting a few lessons. Anyone around here have any recommendations? I'm not trying to become great or anything, just would like to be able to use my driver and hit the ball further.
TIA for all serious answers.

need repetitions and need to feel lag in your swing ... buy a heavy wooden handled broom and swing it 100 times every day ... swing so that the broom is broad sided against your path ... you'll have to learn to shift weight, turn hips, etc to get it to square ...

Just learn how to hit your driver 275-300 and then you should be fine.

If you can't hit your driver I highly doubt your hitting your irons straight almost all the time.
