What EXACTLY are you looking for? Total relaxation? Adventure? Night life?

Will make a big difference.

Oh...and do you want an All-Inclusive? How much are you willing to spend, total?

I loved my time in Punta Cana, DR. Pretty affordable. The Zoetry Agua in Punta Cana was extremely secluded, but total relaxation. Spectacular food for an all inclusive, bungalows on the beach, great spa...just total relaxation. You aren't going to find much adventure near by but it is right on a reef so you can take boats out and the like.

Puerto Rico has rainforests, cliffs, waterfalls, Bioluminescent bays, lechoneras, and some pretty awesome cities.

I think a lot of people are going to recommend the hell out of Costa Rica though.

We just booked our Spring vacation. We were debating on going to San Diego for the first time or to NYC for the second time.

We decided to go back to NYC. 5 days 4 nights the week after Easter.

April is a good time to go weather wise. But if it's the week of Easter it's one of their busiest time of year and every place will be packed and expensive.

Costa Rica always gets mentioned because it's awesome and very affordable.

Look at the Ritz St. Thomas. Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal. It's an easy flight and you can lounge at the property all day or visit some great places nearby (St. John, BVI, Red Hook)
