Need a Suit

I have a wedding this coming weekend and decided I should get a suit for it since I don't currently own one. I've never bought a suit before, so I don't really know where to start. I know the style I want (more of a modern fit/tailored) and my budget is anywhere from $300 to $1000, but I would rather not spend on the upper end if I can't get something of quality on such short notice. What does the OT have?

J.Crew if you want a modern fit. But if this wedding is four day away. You are cutting it very close.

Get to Macy's. Then to tailor for food fit. Hopefully they can have it done in time.

J Crew or Banana Republic have decent suits

Man, just be prepared to have it tailored.
I've gotten my suits from Men's Warehouse but that's just because it's the only thing close by. The suit would be around 300 and the tailoring another 150 or so.

I've always like Armani suits, but you will need to have it tailored, which can take up to a week if you don't have a tailor you frequent.

Good luck getting it tailored by then

You can go to the J.Crew in Perkins Rowe and order a suit by phone. Also, ask them if they will waive the next day shipping cost. Typically they will remove it on high price orders.

- I would guess that J. Crew will not have an in house tailor? Where is a good place to get a suit tailored that might be able to turn it around so quickly?

I get my suits from Dillards and alterations are free. They get the suit looking great on me. It's affordable and they are great quality.

Well, it's not like there will be any orders in front of you. Learn to plan a little better and good luck getting the tailored suit on time.

They do not. I typically go to Harper's haberdashery. But I don't think they will be able to have this done before the wedding. But you can try.
