Series read so far:

Mitch Rapp (Vince Flynn RIP )

Cotton Malone (Steve Berry)

Sigma Force (James Rollins)

A Song of Ice and Fire (George RR Martin)

I'm about to read the newest Malone book, and Rollins new book doesn't release until mid December. Looking for something in the CIA, covert ops, suspense fiction with historical ties genre.

The Bible, if you want all that (but it isn't fiction)

W.E.B. Giffin has a few series.

I am finishing up the "Presidential Agent Series" aka Charley Castillo. I have enjoyed it.

Ever read the Bourne series by Robert Ludlum? The newer ones are written by Eric Van Lustbader

I've never read them but my husband reads the same kind of books as you and I know he really likes those.

Griffin has a Covert Op series I plan on reading this summer as well.

The "Presidential Agent" series falls into that area as well.

I thought about that. Ludlum has some other good ones too. Thanks

The Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O' Brien. 22 or 23 in all; should keep you occupied the next 2-3 years.

Gene Roddenberry (by his own admission) took this character, shot him into space, and renamed him James Kirk
