Need a Barber recommendation

For today. I know most are closed on Monday but I'm heading out of town and need a haircut. Plus mine is off the whole week.

My barber is pretty good. But they are closed on Monday's. And they are in Shreveport.

If in Baton Rouge which I assume you are I think most of the little quick clip type places stay open on Mondays. All of the good barbershops I know of close on Mondays.

Gotta pay too much, but Roosters. It's the only chain I know of where you can walk in and get a shavette shave to the neck. And they do a good job. It going to be somewhere between your guy and sport clips. They give real face shaves so if you want to be particular ask who can shave? To shave they are a "barber" and not just a cosmetologist.

No Roosters in BR but I do go to one in Highland Village up on that North end of Dallas and that's a great place. Wish we did have one here.

Roosters forces you to wash hair (pay same price wash or no wash) which irked me until I left. You can actually leave there and not itch! I always end up with clipper neck hair down back of shirt. Can't do it. I immediately head home and shower.
