NASA to make huge announcement about Mars on Thursday

If the MAVEN space probe made the observations, then that gives some clues on what could be announced. MAVEN data is used to “determine the role that loss of volatiles from the Mars atmosphere to space has played through time, giving insight into the history of Mars’ atmosphere and climate, liquid water, and planetary habitability,” according to MAVEN’s mission page.
The last major reveal by NASA was that there was evidence water currently existed on the Red Planet and that it flowed seasonally.

I love that mars is a fricking cold arse desert planet with MAYBE a dixie cups worth of water and built to absolutely suffocate you and people are so far up its arse. Like people will pay millions to live there.

Mars gets up to 80 during the day so it's not entirely cold and having flowing water is huge.
