My son wants to be a professional dancer

He is 15 and for some reason he wants to join dance school. Apparently smothering him with sports his entire life did nothing but turn him off to it. He has no aspirations to go to college; All he wants to do is dance and be on that dancing with the stars show.
Anyone else's son try to follow this path? What did you do to right the ship?

Maybe he just adores Channing Tatum a little too much

Is he any good? What style? Hopefully ballet.

Do you approve of his life partner?

Send him off to war, something about killing man always sets you straight.

I'd do everything you can to support him.
But I also got to say, you realize this is not a great spot for this advice right?

He's a shoe-in for Johnny in the remake of Airplane.

The good news is that if he's straight, he will be swimming in hot poon.
The bad news is that the odds of him being straight are pretty low.

Note to self: Add "Son doesn't want to be a dancer" to the list of things to be thankful for at Thanksgiving.

If he's good enough to do it for a living and it's what he wants to do, then support him.
If he's not good enough, then let him down gently and steer him towards a more lucrative, productive path.
