Went out with the gf tonight. She just started a new job and she mentioned she has to get up at 5am tomorrow to interview someone. I usually get up at 7 for work. She got pissed because I brought her back to her place tonight rather than get up at 5 and bring her home then. She wanted to spend the night with me and now she's mad. I just want to sleep in. Thoughts?

If you fight over trivial crap like that, it won't last long.

I would've done the same thing. She shouldn't get mad over that.

Why didn't you just sleep at her place, wake up at 6:50, drive to your house, and get ready?

If she wanted to stay the night and knew she had to get up earlier she should have planned ahead and had her car at your place before y'all went out.

If my gf were to seriously get angry over something like that, I'd toss my phone to the side and just ignore her. She's gonna get over it by tomorrow and if she doesn't, move on.

Why not just spend the night at her house? Unless she lives an hour away, I don't see that being a problem

I always just did what my exes told me to do. I rarely talked back because I didn't want them to break up with me. They ended up breaking up with me anyways.

Obviously this is a test and the OP failed miserably. The girlfriend wanted something and you went out of your way not to provide. Women want a strong independent man who will give them whatever they want. Chalk it up to a learning experience.

Dude, never, ever turn down a sure thing. Turn in your man card ASAP.

Strong, independent and "give them whatever they want" are not exactly complimentary attributes.
