I pulled my camper down to Jude Travel Park off of Chef Menteur Saturday and stayed there for the night for $60.
Took a $20 taxi ride to the FQ and walked around a while then hit a bunch of Bourbon Street bars and drank, danced and sang before catching Endymion.
Met a lot of people from all over, partied with a group of Canadians that had never been to N.O. that were awesome!
Didn't see any fights or the usual assholes that try to ruin a good night for everyone.
Got a front row spot to catch the parade and had a blast!

Your wife and I rocked the camper while you were out partying. Had a great time too. Happy Mardi Gras!

What was the name of the campground?

Is it in a "safe" area?

Jude Travel Park
7400 Chef Menteur

About a 10-15 minute cab ride to the FQ.
Can't speak much on how safe the area is but the park is gated and patrolled.

Dont believe you. That's almost their regular rate.
