18 miles from nearest store, plus they are closed. None on hand.

About 3-4 (or more depending on size)large cans of tomato juice (My 140lb Rottie took 5 large cans for the smell to be tolerable. It cuts the stench a little more each time. I've gone through it a few times, doesn't go away completely but makes it much, much better and cuts the acrid portion of the smell.

I bathed him three times already with the periox, baking soda and apple cider vinegar. He doesn't smell as bad, but the damn skunk sprayed him about 15 yards from the house.

My step daughter cleaned our god with a bar of soap and elbow grease in the shower. I didn't think it would work, but the smell was damn near gone from the dog.

As for your problem in your yard, burn it with fire!!

The dog is gonna stink for about a week. Residuals will last longer. Good news is the smell outdoors will dissipate in a couple of days.

My sister had a dog skunked recently. It got sick and almost died because it ingested some of the skunk spray. Her dog is small, though.

My dog got sprayed in the face this summer. I can still smell it, especially if she gets wet.
