My daughter had a dream that I died a horrible death

She woke up, told her mother about the dream, and insisted her mother call me at work to confirm 1) I'm still alive and to 2) tell me she loves me.

Then, about 30 minutes later, my 2 year old woke up and ran to mommy because he wanted to talk to daddy. He started crying when mommy told him I had already left for work.

I'm pretty spooked by this.

Especially considering my grandmother had proven psychic abilities. She even predicted my father's death in 2005.

In 2005 my father and his wife informed the family of their intentions to move to coastal Georgia. My father wanted my siblings and I to spend a weekend with him before he left for Florida.

Out of the blue my grandmother called my siblings and I to "strongly encourage" us to see my father before he and his wife left for Georgia. In her own words, "I fear this'll be the last time you'll see your father alive. It's important you see him, say goodbye, and forgive him for any past wrongs."

Understand that this is my mother's mother who encouraged us to see our father one last time and forgive him of perceived wrongs (I assume she was referring to my mother and father's divorce). My grandmother wasn't my father's biggest fan.

We spent a 3 day weekend with my father. It was a beautiful weekend full of joy, laughter, great food (he was an excellent cook), football in the back yard, and plenty of good conversation.

He and his wife left for Georgia the following week.

Six months later he was dead and we were arranging to fly his body back to Missouri for the funeral.

That was just one of many examples of my grandmother's proven psychic power which she demonstrated throughout her life. My grandmother passed away less than six months ago at the age of 93.

Have my children inherited my grandmother's power of spiritual insight? I hope not!
