I just lost my mom a month ago and miss her terribly. Get some video of your Dad so you can watch it and hear his voice. Smell your Dad because one day you'll forget the way he smelled . Tell him how much he means to you and let him know you will be ok and it's ok for him to go. Good luck and prayers to you and your family . It's a heartache like no other

Prayers to you, I lost mine in 2007 and I know the feeling. He was my best friend. I miss that man more than anything/anybody. I would give every dollar in the world to have a few more days with my pops again, go be with yours before its too late.

I agree with everyone, spend as much time as you can. It will be one the darkest days when you won't be able to spend any more time with him. But be appreciative for the long time you guys have been together.

Lost Dad in '92 he was 82 & Mom December 2013 she was 93.....Luckily I had time to spend with both of them before. I had just talked to Mom about 7 hours before I got the call she had passed. Outwardly no real sign that she was going to pass just think she was ready.
Do all that you can to spend time with him, comfort him & remember the great times

Man, I am sorry to hear that, but at least you get an opportunity to say goodbye. My dad passed away (suicide) when I was ten. Never got to know him, or say goodbye.

Dad passed yesterday morning. He just wasn't strong enough or healthy enough to pull through it.
He went in Monday morning for being dehydrated and very disoriented. He was so scared that every thing he ate was too high in potassium that he didn't eat or drink anything for a few days.
Miss him so damn much already!!!

man im sorry for your loss. But on bright side, you had your dad a good long time. Alot of people are not that fortunate. You have a lot of good memories to make you smile! Reflect on those.
