My baby girl was born yesterday

19 inches long, 6 pound, 4 ounces.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to witness the birth of cut the cord. Baby came unexpectedly, water broke, 2 mins later she was here. Baby was birth at home in a bathtub
and I was an hour away. Damn paramedics got to cut the cord

If that was her first baby and you're exaggerating by even 28 minutes, that's a big ole cooter.

I didn't cut the cord for either of my kids. Just wasn't something that I was interested in doing.

Fwiw to kidless posters, babies tend fly outta the birth canal like a waterside after first couple and it's not because the cooch is bigger.

Congrats. My (unmarried) buddy had a short birth too. Girl was going to be induced at 5 a.m. and he got off work at 12, but he got a call at about 12:05 letting him know she had an adverse reaction to something they gave her, resulting in an emergency C-section. By the time I got over to his house to pick him up (he was a wreck and I already volunteered in advance due to his 16 hour shift) and got to the hospital at 12:45, baby was already out and chilling.
