What's the cost of a simple MRI of the knee? Not billing insurance, just out the wallet cost.

Find a private radiology center (NOT a hospital) and call them and say you have cash in hand for a knee MRI. Obviously you will need an order (prescription) for the study as well. I'm not certain on prices but if you shop around I'd say less than $1000, maybe $500. If you go to hospital expect a few grand at least, even with cash in hand.
